The term electronica is said to have originated in the late 1900s. Perhaps in the 1990s, in England and Germany, this genre began to be played in clubs, and the recognition that club music = electronica spread. Music magazines started using it in the mid-1990s, and it was recognized by the general public. However, at that time, there were still many people who used expressions such as chemical breaks and big beats. Electronica in the 1990s has a lot of styles that incorporate live instruments. In the 2000s, it really became popular. This is because the genre of electronic music has become able to create more precise music through the innovation of hardware and software, which has spawned a large number of creators. As a result, an all-electronic sound became popular and continues to this day. Madonna, Björk, Daft Punk and others have embraced these musical tastes. Many active musicians incorporate elements of electronica into their popular genre music.
